Are you a Voluntary & Community Sector organisation operating in Hartlepool.
If so, Hartlepool Borough Councils Learning & Skills Service has a dedicated VCS Project Team which provides infrastructure support, advice and guidance to the sector to enable VCS organisations to effectively develop your organisation, grow and become self-sustainable!

The Councils VCS Project Team can provide a wide range of services and works in collaboration with specialist organisations to provide bespoke solutions to VCS organisations and can also help groups to establish organisations which support the sector, such as not-for-profit groups and social enterprises.

The services that we can offer include:

Helping you set up a VCS organisation.
Access to grant funding.
Support with identifying income generation and funding opportunities.
Access to Business Advisers to help your organisation to thrive.
Capacity building support such as policy and systems development, performance management and strengthening governance arrangements.
Undertaking a Training Needs Analysis on your organisation and delivering bespoke training.
Supporting you with recruitment and training of new staff.
Access to trained volunteers and the facility to advertise your opportunities through Volunteer Hartlepool.
Networking opportunities within the sector and the wider business community.
