Hartlepool Learning and Skills On-line Careers Service Launched 13/07/2020

A new Virtual Careers Service has been launched to offer vital support to Hartlepool residents aged 16+.

The service allows unemployed residents or agencies to make a referral and access impartial Information, Advice & Guidance. The Service offers a range of specialist provision including:

Impartial Careers Service: Providing access to employment, training and volunteer opportunities with one to one support from qualified Careers Advisors.

Tees Valley Pathways & Routeways Youth Employment Initiative: Providing support for unemployed young people aged 15 to 29 within Tees Valley.

Routes to Work Programme: Providing support for adults aged 30+ who are long-term unemployed or have multiple barriers such as Health and Finance.

Adult Education: Delivering learning and skills courses such as Functional Skills, Online Learning and NVQs alongside apprenticeships programmes within a range of Sectors.

Advisors are available Monday to Friday from 10am- 4pm and can be contacted by calling the hotline on (01429) 401831. Individuals and agencies can also refer into the service by using an online form which can be found at www.hartlepool.gov.uk/careersservice
