Hartlepool Learning & Skills now have a Virtual Careers Advice Line with various programmes on offer, below is information on our:

Virtual Careers Line
Contact our Careers service line or refer online to speak to our qualified and friendly advisors to gain one to one impartial Information, Advice and Guidance on upskilling, courses or furthering your career.

YEI Programme 15 to 29 year olds
One to One Support for young people aged 15 to 29 who are unemployed or not in education, employment or training.

Volunteering and Community Sector
Provides information to the Volunteer Community Sector on funding, training, governance, information on networking events and volunteering opportunities.

Routes to Work Age 30+
One to one support from a dedicated key worker to support long term unemployed adults over the age of 30 into work.

ESF Community Grants
Grants available between £10,000 and £20,000 for third sector organisations running projects that assist unemployed people towards employment education and training.

Distance Learning Courses
A variety of free online Level 2 distance learning courses in a variety of sectors such as Childcare, Business, Leadership, Health and Social Care, Retail and Hospitality. Distance Learning is remote learning to study at your own pace with the support of an assessor.

Adult Education
A wide range of classroom based courses that will help enhance personal, social and employability skills including Functional Skills and GCSE English and Maths, ESOL, IT, Health and Social Care and Family Learning.

Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships available in Education and Childcare, Business Admin, Accountancy, Health and Social Care and Digital Support Technician.
