Purpose: A young persons music venue organisation that works hard to raise its own funds to continue delivering essential services to local young people who need this support the most.
In this role you'll provide strong expertise and knowledge of application processes and varied funding sources.
This opportunity comes with great responsibility as without funding the organisation cannot continue to support and develop their young people.
We are therefore looking for someone who can share their vision and heart for its community and its young people, as well as bring fundraising experience that can help generate new sources of income for the organisation.
To network and develop good contacts.
Be responsible for completing new applications to relevant funding sources as prioritised. These will include trusts, major donors, corporate and individual giving.
To ensure all information on funding applications is accurate and correct.
Maintain a simple log indicating the progress stages/status of agreed fundraising applications.
Deliver brief progress/activity update reports to the Board of Trustees.
Time needed from Volunteer:
A commitment of a minimum of 6 months.
Any available hours volunteer are able to spare.
Skills Experience & Qualifications:
Fully supported to deliver role - one to one training available.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Time management and exceptional organisational skills.
