Purpose: Local organisation who provides supported accommodation to male ex-offenders (or those at risk of re-offending)
Organisation runs a number of client involvement activities which include music nights, quiz nights, cooking sessions practical sessions in the project, sponsored events outside the project, involvement in open days and much more.
looking for volunteers to help with the breakfast club on a morning.
Tasks would be to run a breakfast club for the customers and this could be anything from cooked breakfast to offering cereals or toast.
It would also include preparing breakfast initially, but with a view to promote to the customers to help run the club and of course clean up afterwards (again promoting this with the customers)
Other tasks would involve money management and stock control and also to enable the breakfast club sessions to promote chat and interaction activity.
Time needed from Volunteer:
Monday to Friday from about 9:00am. Times can be adjusted slightly to 8:30am or 9:30. However we would be looking for someone who is reliable, motivated and enthusiastic.
Skills Experience & Qualifications:
People who have a passion for cooking and if you have any qualification's in Hospitality/Catering would be appreciated.
Must have a food hygiene certificate.
