We are looking for a range of different people to help us put together, to make, to build and to welcome all to Hartlepool Waterfront Festival 2019

This year’s festival takes place on Sat 20th and Sun 21st July 2019 and our theme will be ‘Harbour of Refuge’, which will see us throw a giant welcome party!

As part of the Hands team, you will be there to lend a hand to anyone who needs it, whether a member of the public, an act or part of the events team.

The Hands team will work alongside the Events Team in delivering the festival and can cover everything from the build and breakdown of the festival to the delivery of activity within the festival.

As part of the Hands team, your role will cover the following aspects:

Welcoming people to the festival as part of our Pay What You Decide.

Assisting the events team with the running of different sites of Hartlepool Waterfront Festival.

Assisting in the build and break-down of the festival, but nothing too strenuous!

Greeting guests, explaining the programme and ensuring that queries, comments and compliments are recorded.

Time needed from Volunteer:
2 days - Sat 20th and Sun 21st July 2019

Skills Experience & Qualifications:
You don’t have to be outgoing and bubbly, just as long as you’re passionate about arts, culture or Hartlepool!

A full on-site briefing will be provided by the events team on the day of every event. This will cover event-specific health and safety as well as any relevant information that they will require for the delivery of the activity that they are assigned.
