Purpose: Money raised in these stores through the sale of donated goods is used to help transform the lives of the young people we work with in almost 700 communities.
Our amazing shops sell a large range of items including second-hand retro, high street and designer clothing, shoes and other accessories, books, CDs, DVDs, vinyl, bric-a-brac, electrical goods, furniture, home-wares, games, sports equipment and jewellery.
To assist and serve customers, providing a service of the highest standard. To assist with processing stock, including sorting, steaming, pricing and hanging of donated items. To be involved with the till operation and the handling of cash (although this is not a necessary requirement).
Time needed from Volunteer:
This retail outlet has 150 hours per week to be filled for the right candidates.
Hours and days to be negotiated with Store Manager - flexible around potential volunteers lifestyle.
Skills Experience & Qualifications:
Good communication and customer care service skills are essential to fulfil this role. Being able to work as part of a team environment and with the general public is essential.
Full in-house training will be given of operational procedures during your Induction Period and continuous support throughout role.
