Do you have a natural flair for organising? Are you creative and able to solve problems? Would you like an exciting and fun volunteer role to showcase your talents?
If so, we’d love to hear from you. A local organisation are looking for volunteers to join their first fundraising group made up of like-minded people working together to raise funds for our projects supporting local children with additional needs to thrive in life.

You will organise your very own fundraising events, calling upon your contacts and local community to create and deliver unique fundraising activities.
Tasks will include;

• Researching opportunities
• Organising events and collections
• Identifying potential funders - grant making
trusts, corporate foundations etc
• Generating interest in your community in what we
do and how they can help
• Marketing and PR
• Recruiting new volunteers to join your
fundraising group

Time needed from Volunteer:
No minimum commitment required per week -time and days to be arranged between potential volunteer and organisation.

Skills Experience & Qualifications:
You need to be enthusiastic and passionate about making a difference for the organisation. Being a great communicator with strong organisational skills are required to make your events a success. It is also invaluable that you have an interest in meeting people.

The organisation will support you in organising fundraising activities, events and collections across Hartlepool. We will be there to provide you with an induction, offer guidance and discuss the details that will make your fundraising a huge success. Templates can be provided for all promotional materials that you can amend with your event details as well as logistic and health and safety guidance and risk assessments.
