Purpose: A new initiative project in Hartlepool to provide Information, Advice and Guidance on a wide variety of topics which can include:
To signpost to relevant agencies across Hartlepool to address barriers.
Supporting project staff to deliver creative events
Supporting administer tasks such as: meeting and greeting potential guests, general reception duties, data entry, filing, diary and timetable record keeping, managing databases, answering incoming calls; taking messages and re-directing calls as required.
Time needed from Volunteer:
2 Hours every Wednesday either morning or afternoon, to be arranged with organisation.
Skills Experience & Qualifications:
The potential volunteer will have good listening and communication skills with a non-judgemental approach, friendly and enthusiastic personality.
The ability to work as part of a team and use their own initiative when needed.
Administration experience would be desirable but not essential.
This is a multi-faceted role and the potential volunteer should be open to be flexible to carry out all duties outlined.
Hands on training provided by organisation.
Ongoing support and supervision given.
