Purpose:
A local charity that supports people 18 + in all their mental health and social anxiety barriers to engage and socialise with individuals that face similar issues.
Social inclusion and engagement with like-minded people are their main objectives and offer peer-to-peer support for individuals accessing their service.
The organisation provides a provision of activities and events that volunteers engage in, offering support where needed with the wider community in Hartlepool.

Duties:
To assist in the maintenance of private gardens and a commercial property in Hartlepool.
Using petrol powered tools for grass cutting, hedge trimming and removing branches.
General ground maintenance including weeding, power washing, pruning and occasional planting.
Working with a team of other novice to amateur gardeners to produce a great standard of service.

Time needed from Volunteer:
Organisation operates Monday to Friday and day/times to be arranged in the first informal meeting.

Initially a 4 week trial period.

Skills Experience & Qualifications:
This would suit someone who is semi-retired or is a keen gardener with some spare time.
Previous gardening/Conservation experience is essential.
Some training will be provided as well as the appropriate PPE.
