As the first point of contact for many customers you will play an important role in providing a warm and cheerful welcome for all the organisations visitors. You will be part of a small team providing the very best service and support to the residents. In your role you will create a welcoming environment for visitors and tenants and facilitate their arrival or departure. The ideal candidate will take pride in going beyond the expected level of service by assisting visitors with any queries they may have.

•To represent the organisation and be the first point of
contact based at the front entrance, for all of the tenants
and visitors.
•To quickly get to know each visitor/tenant and where
they are in the Hubs and ensure that they are always
acknowledged, greeted and visitors are assisted if needed to
where they are going to
•To assist with the general running of the reception
desk and coffee lounge area
•To ensure a pleasant and efficient reception
experience for visitors
•To take in mail and record and inform tenants of the
hub when it arrives
•To attend to any query or incident within your
workspace, and collaborate with the rest of the
organisations team
•To manage the use of the car parking areas, advising
if needed
•Regular walk-rounds, to inspect and maintain your
workspace and other areas
•To use email, Outlook Calendar to view room hire
requirements and replenish sundries such as tea/coffee and
set out rooms as requested ahead of hiring (in the main
•To take an active role in the event of an emergency,
following procedures and contacting the relevant emergency
services and escalating the issue to the Line Manager
•To take and maintain clear and detailed records of
any incidents which may occur during the shift and where
required, prepare and submit written reports to the Line
•To assist in the security of the buildings entrance
procedures are adhered to by checking that all contractors
are registered with the front desk
•To attend any training made available and take
responsibility for your own development
•To generally assist the organisations team and carry out
tasks as requested.
•To undertake any other related duties in mutual agreement
with the organisations board and nominated staff members

Time needed from Volunteer:
Organisations Front of House/Receptionist will volunteer in shifts as part of a team for either 2 or 3 days per week, between 8.30am and 4.30pm.

Skills Experience & Qualifications:
Looking for a friendly approachable individual who has good communication skills and able to effectively engage with all members of the public.

Within the role there will be the opportunity to progress, by taking part in training and learning associated with the wider organisation.
